“We had to call on the services of Alice at The Home Farewell Vet recently when our little dog reached the point that I couldn't let him suffer. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make as I didn't want him to go but I also couldn't let him be in pain. He hated going to the vets so there was no way I wanted that to be his final journey. I messaged Alice at 8am on a Saturday morning and even though the traffic was awful, it was the weekend and she had children to organise, she was with us in under 90 minutes. Alice arrived wearing normal clothes not scrubs and she was very kind, understanding and gentle. My boy left us cradled in my arms — it was comforting to know he wasn't scared and was in his safe place. We can't thank Alice enough.”
