We know that quality of life and welfare of your pet are absolutely paramount, but this may be hard to assess
I have put together this thought generator to help. For quality of life, your pet should be rating above 5/10 in all of these important welfare factors.

Pain
Is your pet crying out, gnawing, excessively panting, very lethargic, restless? These can all be signs of pain
Happiness
Is your pet having more happy days than low, bad days? Are they behaving in altered, negative ways? Disorientation/ confusion/ aggressiveness?
Eating
Is your pet wanting to eat? Is he not eating at all?
Movement
Can your pet get about easily without discomfort, lethargy, pain?
Drinking
Is your pet drinking excessively or not at all? Excessive drinking can be a sign of serious disease processes.
Cleanliness
Is your pet urinating or defecating on themselves? Are they able to groom themselves?
